At My Tech Tap, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with our products and services. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which we issue refunds for purchases made through our website, mobile application, or other sales channels.
By making a purchase from My Tech Tap, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy. This policy may be updated from time to time, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Physical Products
For physical products such as NFC cards, bracelets, tags, and table talkers, the following refund conditions apply:
2.1 Unopened and Unused Products
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging with all accessories and documentation.
To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team at returns@mytechtap.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide you with a return shipping address and instructions.
2.2 Defective Products
If you receive a defective product, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will either replace the product or issue a full refund, including any shipping costs incurred for returning the defective item to us.
To qualify for a defective product refund or replacement, you must provide clear photographic evidence of the defect and, in some cases, return the defective item to us for inspection.
2.3 Personalized or Custom Products
Products that have been personalized or customized according to your specifications cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective or significantly different from what was ordered.
If you receive a personalized product that is defective or not as described, please contact our customer support team within 7 days of delivery.
2.4 Activated Products
Once an NFC product has been activated on our platform, it is considered used and is not eligible for return or refund unless it is defective. Activation of a product constitutes acceptance of its condition and functionality.
3. Digital Services and Subscriptions
For digital services, including profile subscriptions and premium features, the following refund conditions apply:
3.1 Free Trial Periods
If you signed up for a free trial of our premium services and decide to cancel before the trial period ends, you will not be charged, and no refund will be necessary. It is your responsibility to cancel before the trial period ends if you do not wish to continue with a paid subscription.
3.2 Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscription payments are non-refundable. If you cancel a monthly subscription, you will continue to have access to the premium features until the end of your current billing cycle, but you will not receive a refund for the current month.
3.3 Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscriptions, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you cancel within this period, you will receive a full refund. After 14 days, annual subscriptions may be eligible for a prorated refund at our discretion, minus a 20% administrative fee.

3.4 Service Interruptions
If our services experience significant downtime or technical issues that substantially impact your ability to use the features you've paid for, you may be eligible for a partial refund or service credit. The amount will be determined based on the duration and severity of the service interruption.
4. Refund Process and Timeframes
When a refund is approved, the following process and timeframes apply:
4.1 Refund Methods
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase. If this is not possible, we will work with you to find an alternative refund method.
4.2 Processing Time
Once approved, refunds typically take 5-10 business days to process. However, the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider or bank and may take an additional 2-10 business days.
4.3 Shipping Costs
Unless the return is due to a defective product or our error, the original shipping costs are non-refundable. You are responsible for the cost of returning the product to us.
4.4 Return Shipping
For returns that require shipping the product back to us, we recommend using a trackable shipping service. We are not responsible for items that are lost or damaged during return shipping.
5. Non-Refundable Items and Services
The following items and services are generally not eligible for refunds:
5.1 Digital Downloads
Once accessed or downloaded, digital products such as design templates, guides, or other downloadable content are not eligible for refunds.
5.2 Service Fees
Administrative fees, setup fees, and other service charges are non-refundable.
5.3 Bulk Orders
Custom bulk orders or enterprise solutions are subject to the specific terms agreed upon at the time of purchase and may not be eligible for our standard refund policy.
6. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
We understand that special circumstances may arise. In cases not covered by this policy, we reserve the right to make decisions on a case-by-case basis. Our goal is to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining fair business practices.
